Hey readers! I’m glad you guys took the time out of your day to join me on my blogging journey during the season of fall! The leaves are turning into an array of different beautiful shades of orange, the cold crisp air is slowly settling in for winter and the atmosphere is just heart-warming and refreshing! In this post i will go through 5 fall Self Care tips and fall activities to apply to your everyday life during this magnificent season!

And also it’s spooky time! Halloween is not that far from us so I will also drop a few names of Halloween movies you must binge watch this Halloween/Fall! 🎃

What is Self Care?

Self care is the practice of taking active roles in protecting one’s own well-being such as our mental health, emotional health, physical health, the spirituality of a being and our social life.

Why is Self Care important?

Self Care is important because it maintains a healthy relationship with yourself as an individual, as it enhances positive feelings and boosts your confidence and self-esteem. Furthermore, Self Care is significant to remind yourself and others that you and your priorities come before anything and anyone else.

Now that we can fully understand why we need to practice Self Care, Here is 5 Self Care tips you can try for yourself to make your fall fabulous!

Fall Baking!

  1. Bake some fall goodies such as Salted caramel apple pie bars, Apple cinnamon oatmeal cookies, Baked apple cider doughnut holes, Maple muffins, Chewy ginger cookies and pumpkin bread!

Write a Gratitude List about what you are thankful for during fall!

2. Create a list about everything you are enjoying and you are grateful for about the season of autumn! this may be the elegant scenic areas that appear during this time period such as the forests, orange leaves or the aroma of fall candles and much more! you can even begin to write 3 affirmations a day to show your gratitude for the season!

Hot Drink Detoxing!

3. Whats more comforting and cosy than savouring a hot fall inspired drink from Starbucks to really give off a calming vibe to your day as the weather begins to settle in for winter! My personal favourite fall drinks are the hot Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Salted Caramel Mocha, the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte and finally the Cinnamon Dolce Latte!

Go Outdoors!

4. Taking a walk though the crisp air and looking around the beautiful variety of colourful leaves falling from above during Autumn is fantastic. The leaves are crunchy, the temperature is extremely moving especially when you are wearing your favourite jacket since it is starting to get cold for the winter without breaking any sweat before you leave your house!

Getting fresh air and low intensity exercise does ultimately improve your mental health,it will grant you with a new found appreciate for fall!

Fall Decor!!

5. As a must you should try this autumn is decorating your home with leaves or fall crafts from things you can find around the house! this can be recycled items, colourful paper, fall printables you can find on the internet and many more! This will allow your home to feel more cosy and fall inspired!
